Part drag spectacle, part gayme night, all heart. Gay Bingo Charlotte is one of the Queen City’s most outrageous and unforgettable nights - it's not your typical fundraiser. Think themed chaos packed with laugh out loud moments, wild performances, campy couture, and bingo like you’ve never seen. Each year brings a brand new theme and insane rules. Come in costume, bring your crew, and expect the unexpected.
No cash prizes, just pure joy, unforgettable memories, and a real impact in the fight to end HIV in our community.
Everyone’s invited. LGBTQIA+, straight, 21 or 71. If you love to laugh, celebrate, and show up for something bigger than yourself, you’re in the right place. This is Charlotte’s biggest inclusive party with a purpose.
The real stars? Local heroes. Your neighbors, coworkers, community leaders stepping into wigs, heels, and glitter to raise funds for RAIN’s programs. No pros, just pure community magic. It’s the only night where your boss might be in drag, your grandma’s cracking up at bingo antics, and your whole crew is dancing for a cause.

Reserved tables are for 10 people and include naming rights and the opportunity to decorate beforehand.

Is Gay Bingo Charlotte a game of chance?
No, it is not a game of chance and you will not win anything. Gay Bingo is not real bingo; it is an unconventional and entertaining fundraising event with a bingo theme. You are not able to win any money or prizes for playing.
How many seats does a reserved table hold?
All three reserved table options (VIP, Front & Back) seat 10 people and yes you will receive 10 tickets when you purchase a reserved table.
Is the Charlotte Convention Center wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the Charlotte Convention Center is wheelchair accessible.
If I purchased a table, can I decorate it beforehand?
If you purchased a reserve table you will be able to access the Crown Ballroom between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM to decorate the table. Everyone will need to exit no later than 4:00 PM so that we can finalize everything.
Please review the table guidelines to make sure you don't bring in something you can't use (i.e. the Convention Center DOES NOT like glitter and confetti).
Is there an age restriction?
While we don't have a minimum age for attendance, we do ask that anyone in "attendance" 17 or younger be with a parent or guardian. There will be adult humor, so please use your discretion if bringing children.
At the end of the day it is up to the parent or guardian to make that decision.
Will there be food and drink available?
Yes! There will be snack bar inside the ballroom selling items like chicken tender boxes, soft pretzel bites and flavored popcorn. There is also an option to pre-order food platters for the table and all the individual small bite options - click here to put your order in.
A full bar serving cocktails, beer, wine and soda will be in the main lobby with options to purchase bottles of wine and buckets of beer for the table. Complimentary water stations will be scattered throughout the ballroom as well.
What time should I arrive?
The fun begins with a pre-bingo BVD Reception at 5:00 PM - everyone is welcome (that is everyone with a ticket). The ballroom doors open at 6:00 PM and the show begins at 7:00 PM. Seating is first come, first serve unless you purchased a reserved table.
Side Note: If you purchased a reserve table and want to decorate it, you are allowed to access the Crown Ballroom between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM to decorate.
Do I have to wear a costume?
No, you don't have to wear a costume but we hope you will. Everyone is encouraged to take part in the fun and dress with the theme - POP ICONS! The sky is the limit to what it means to you and we can't wait to see your creativity.
I have a question about my tickets.
You will need to either print your ticket or show your ticket on your mobile device. We currently use TicketSpice for our ticketing system.

FYI: Once a ticket has been scanned, it can not be repeated (so don't think about buying one ticket and printing it up multiple times - each ticket has a distinct code).
